Wow! We don't have much time to get used to being ambassadors/princesses before we're busy again!
This weekend was Super Saturday. Brenda, Maleah and I helped the kids make ice cream! It was fun to get to know some more of the kids around here and to educate them a little bit about the benefits of the dairy industry and the importance of milk for health. Did you know that milk supplies 9 important nutrients to your diet?
I woke up at 6:45am on Monday for a radio interview with Joe and Patti on 790 KGMI. Having talked to Joe on Saturday, we were planning for a 7:45am interview, but that obviously didn't work, since I got woken up an hour earlier. :) We really do have to be ready on a moment's notice! My mom posted a link on her facebook status (http://kgmi.com/Morning-News/2990291) which apparently leads to a recording of the interview. My family made me listen to it... My voice really does sound like a little kid on the phone!
